INSIGHT- Abhay, the protagonist of Shiva Origins is a passionate young scholar researching the Chola dynasty. The dialogue delivery and expressions both are pathetic.Ĭould be a great book but instead became a plot of flop movie. The writer and director just want to wrap up the story because budget is limited. Imagine you are watching a low budget movie or tv series where the cast is totally novice and don’t know how to act. I can give you an example of how this book feels. If you have watched Undeworld movie you can easily relate the love story to it and ending of that story too.ĭialogues again feel blank and flat without any expression. The fighting scenes are straight from any old history movie. Most of the time you know what is going to happen because such situations and such drama has been created and viewed over and over again for decades. I wish author has used better ways of writing instead of writing a plot for super low budget movie. I have given 2 starts because of that only. One thing I would surely tell that this is a page turner because you literally know what’s going to happen so you have to turn page without reading it.Ī good aspect about book is that the core story is great and how author has described yoga within the story is really appreciated. I felt like I was watching a C grade movie with super low budget. The book is so bad I don’t even know why I read it. Please avoid this if you are a serial reader.
